Responsibilities
- Design mechanical parts and assemblies for robots.
- Build and test prototypes of mechanical components.
- Perform verification and validation testing on systems.
- Troubleshoot issues and conduct root cause failure analysis.
- Use Catia CAD software to design and release parts.
- Develop and maintain product support documentation including BOMs and detailed drawings.
- Support system design analyses including reliability and cost-reduction efforts.
Job Requirements
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor Degree program in Mechanical Engineering or Robotics Engineering.
- Passion for robotics and mechanical design.
- Experience with 3D CAD tools (Solidworks, CATIA, etc.).
- Proficiency in technical writing for specifications and reports.
- Experience with Python, LabView, or MATLAB is a plus.
- Familiarity with ASME drafting standards and GD&T.
- Previous internship experience in mechanical design is preferred.
