Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design of key gripper subsystems from concept to production.
- Develop and analyze mechanisms balancing dexterity, payload, and reliability.
- Apply engineering fundamentals in materials, tribology, thermals, and tolerances.
- Use CAD (3DX/Catia) to model, simulate, and validate designs.
- Collaborate with electrical, controls, and manufacturing engineers for integration.
- Support prototyping, bring-up, and issue resolution throughout the product lifecycle.
Job Requirements
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Strong fundamentals in mechanics, dynamics, and materials.
- Experience with precision mechanisms and CAD management.
- Familiarity with precision actuation hardware.
- Ability to balance performance, manufacturability, and reliability.
- Internship or academic project experience preferred.
