Responsibilities
- Define the low voltage (LV) architecture and interface requirements during preliminary design.
- Produce wiring diagrams, schematics, and load lists through detailed design.
- Own first-article build, electrical checkout, and commissioning during testing.
- Design electrical systems for power distribution, control, and instrumentation.
- Integrate electrical systems for various turbine subsystems, including fuel and cooling systems.
- Collaborate across mechanical, controls, and instrumentation teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues during first energization on-site.
Job Requirements
- Experience designing and commissioning LV electrical systems for industrial equipment.
- Hands-on fluency with motor control and instrumentation wiring in 480VAC and 12–28VDC environments.
- Ability to produce clear and buildable electrical drawings.
- Strong instincts for system layout and proactive problem identification.
- Comfort working both at a desk and on the floor with wiring issues.
- Willingness to see work run and not just hand it off.
- U.S. citizenship or eligibility for ITAR compliance.
