Responsibilities
- Learn and implement mechanical design of hardware in the loop systems integration laboratories.
- Create, develop, and maintain mechanical designs by preparing design layouts and modifying existing designs.
- Coordinate between Lab Engineering, Lab Ops, Program, and Supplier Management.
- Participate in Lab, Rack, Component Build/Job, Installation Development, and Design.
- Leverage geometric, dimensioning, and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Conduct mechanical layout of electronic products within aircraft and commercial off-the-shelf rack enclosures.
- Work onsite at the listed location.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related fields.
- Willingness to work weekends on a rotating schedule.
- 1+ years of experience in 3D modeling and drafting (preferred).
- Active U.S. Security Clearance (preferred).
- Experience with CMPRO or other Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems (preferred).
- Familiarity with CATIA / ENOVIA (preferred).
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
