Responsibilities
- Perform structural design and configuration tasks for satellite systems.
- Conduct layout and mass properties analyses.
- Support procurement of materials and components.
- Identify necessary processes, tests, and manufacturing tools.
- Develop structural models for mechanical design performance predictions.
- Support structural qualification testing on spacecraft systems.
- Document and troubleshoot discrepancies in mechanical designs.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
- 1-5 years of experience with SolidWorks or equivalent CAD software.
- 1-2 years of hands-on fabrication experience.
- Familiarity with mechanical design of spacecraft.
- Preferred 1-3 years of mechanical design experience.
- Clear communication and organizational skills.
- Active TS/SCI Clearance preferred.
