Responsibilities

  • Create or update fuel systems safety analysis and airworthiness limitations documents.
  • Coordinate, develop, and publish test plans, reports, and procedures.
  • Provide support for fuel systems safety and compliance investigations.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple fuel systems tasks in support of certification and airplane delivery schedules.
  • Interface with suppliers and external partners on fuel systems projects.
  • Ensure certification plans meet regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate integration of fuel systems changes with other airplane systems.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
  • Three years of professional work experience as a fuel engineer or in a related occupation.
  • Experience analyzing safety and airworthiness of Fuel Systems Design on commercial aircraft.
  • One year of experience certifying fuel systems on commercial aircraft.
  • Familiarity with large transport category aircraft certification processes.
  • Experience documenting Systems Safety Assessments according to FAA regulations.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
