Responsibilities
- Create or update fuel systems safety analysis and airworthiness limitations documents.
- Coordinate, develop, and publish test plans, reports, and procedures.
- Provide support for fuel systems safety and compliance investigations.
- Manage and prioritize multiple fuel systems tasks in support of certification and airplane delivery schedules.
- Interface with suppliers and external partners on fuel systems projects.
- Ensure certification plans meet regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate integration of fuel systems changes with other airplane systems.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- Three years of professional work experience as a fuel engineer or in a related occupation.
- Experience analyzing safety and airworthiness of Fuel Systems Design on commercial aircraft.
- One year of experience certifying fuel systems on commercial aircraft.
- Familiarity with large transport category aircraft certification processes.
- Experience documenting Systems Safety Assessments according to FAA regulations.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
