Responsibilities
- Coordinate with engineering disciplines and propulsion system suppliers.
- Define requirements for propulsion and auxiliary power systems.
- Control functional and physical interfaces between propulsion systems and vehicles.
- Develop specifications and configuration concepts to meet customer and regulatory requirements.
- Create testing, analysis, modeling, and simulation tools for system performance.
- Support certification tests for propulsion subsystems and components.
- Ensure continued reliability and airworthiness of aircraft in production and operation.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
- 2+ years of engineering experience in propulsion systems.
- Experience in System Safety Analyses and integrating complex systems.
- Familiarity with Development Assurance processes and methodology.
- Knowledge of Federal Airworthiness Regulation compliance for propulsion systems.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interface with factory personnel and suppliers.
- Equipment Qualification experience preferred.
