Responsibilities

  • Create or update documents like fuel systems safety analysis and airworthiness limitations
  • Coordinate, develop, and publish test plans, reports, and procedures
  • Provide support for fuel systems safety and compliance investigations
  • Manage and prioritize multiple fuel systems tasks in support of certification and airplane delivery schedules
  • Interface with suppliers and external partners on fuel systems projects
  • Ensure certification plans support regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate integration of fuel systems changes with other airplane systems

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
  • Three years of experience analyzing safety and airworthiness of Fuel Systems Design on commercial aircraft
  • One year of experience certifying fuel systems on commercial aircraft
  • One year of experience with large transport category aircraft certification processes
  • One year of experience documenting Systems Safety Assessments per FAA regulations
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and collaborate with external partners
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required
