Responsibilities
- Create or update documents like fuel systems safety analysis and airworthiness limitations
- Coordinate, develop, and publish test plans, reports, and procedures
- Provide support for fuel systems safety and compliance investigations
- Manage and prioritize multiple fuel systems tasks in support of certification and airplane delivery schedules
- Interface with suppliers and external partners on fuel systems projects
- Ensure certification plans support regulatory requirements
- Coordinate integration of fuel systems changes with other airplane systems
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
- Three years of experience analyzing safety and airworthiness of Fuel Systems Design on commercial aircraft
- One year of experience certifying fuel systems on commercial aircraft
- One year of experience with large transport category aircraft certification processes
- One year of experience documenting Systems Safety Assessments per FAA regulations
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and collaborate with external partners
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required
