Responsibilities
- Develop labor hour estimates for production schedules using historical data and operations analysis.
- Optimize production schedules using Boeing's scheduling tool while collaborating with manufacturing engineers.
- Support production teams by tracking performance to schedule and developing recovery plans.
- Apply advanced industrial engineering concepts to implement changes in manufacturing operations.
- Develop models and databases to analyze data and provide summary analysis for management.
- Research and implement processes to enhance schedule performance and improve quality.
- Analyze and design value streams, including capacity, throughput, and logistics.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or related fields.
- 4+ years of experience in Industrial Engineering or a similar role.
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles in production systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Preferred: 10+ years of related work experience and experience with space flight hardware.
- Strong communication skills with engineering and non-engineering staff.
- Ability to work rotating shifts and travel up to 10%.
