Responsibilities
- Apply Human Engineering knowledge to analyze and design complex systems.
- Define system performance requirements for human operation.
- Develop and implement research methodologies for testing prototypes.
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate human engineering into system design.
- Conduct user engagement activities throughout the design process.
- Ensure compliance with military standards relevant to human engineering.
- Support program documentation consistent with military data item descriptions.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (e.g., Cognitive Psychology).
- 3+ years of experience in Human Engineering or equivalent.
- Knowledge of military standards and human system integration.
- Experience with usability software and human performance modeling.
- Ability to derive human engineering requirements.
- Familiarity with Agile Development and Model Based Systems Engineering.
- Certification in Professional Ergonomics is preferred.
