Responsibilities
- Assist with the development of conceptual designs, final designs, and maintenance support for electrical phases of buildings and equipment.
- Align electrical designs with customer requirements and building codes.
- Facilitate improvements in asset effectiveness and maintainability.
- Participate in infrastructure planning decision-making processes.
- Support analysis of current conditions and future requirements.
- Assist with code research and initial project scheduling.
- Interpret and analyze applicable regulations and standards related to project requirements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- EIT Certification preferred.
- 1+ years of related work experience or equivalent education and experience.
- Experience using AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Experience with building codes and commercial construction.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Revit.
