Responsibilities
- Develop production asset requirements and design solutions.
- Validate technical data and influence product design for production system integration.
- Lead the creation and modification of equipment and tooling definitions.
- Make rework and repair dispositions of asset issues.
- Execute project plans and partner with Procurement for program targets.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct studies and make recommendations for asset investments.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of experience with integrating complex systems and tooling.
- 3+ years of experience in production asset design.
- Experience in ground support equipment and/or tooling engineering (preferred).
- Proficiency in CAD systems (e.g., Creo, CATIA).
- Ability to obtain clearance for access to NASA facilities.
- Must meet Export Control compliance requirements.
