Responsibilities
- Coordinate with multi-discipline groups to develop and understand requirements and designs.
- Perform structural and thermal analysis using hand calculations and analysis tools.
- Document structural analyses and compliance with requirements.
- Collaborate with Electrical Engineering for PCB layout and routing.
- Validate designs through testing and analysis.
- Develop and support new processes for efficient engineering tasks.
- Conduct Root Cause and Corrective Action investigations for failures.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or equivalent.
- Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance.
- Experience using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools.
- Experience with thermal, structural, dynamics, and/or vibration analysis or PCB design.
- Excellent communication skills for cross-discipline collaboration.
- Experience with analysis tools like ANSYS, Creo CAD, or SolidWorks is preferred.
- Ability to collect and analyze data for recommendations.
