Responsibilities
- Act as the connector between design engineering and manufacturing organizations.
- Identify improvement opportunities to enhance product quality and reduce lead time.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions for non-conformances.
- Create process plans, standard operating procedures, and rework instructions.
- Conduct reviews of drawings and standards.
- Collaborate with design engineers for manufacturability feedback.
- Work within cross-functional teams to transition products to full-scale production.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
- 0-2+ years working in a harness/cable assembly environment.
- Familiarity with IPC-WHMA-A-620 and NASA-STD-8739.4.
- Technical problem-solving skills and experience with MES, MRP, and ERP systems.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Understanding of electrical schematics and harness acceptance testing.
