Responsibilities
- Oversee a team of engineers, suppliers, and facility personnel in technical development and integration.
- Serve as the Deputy Chief Engineer, accountable for technical integrity and safety.
- Provide leadership to drive integration and resolve technical issues.
- Ensure technical baseline control and support oversight and direction.
- Identify technical risks and drive them to resolution.
- Chair Engineering Change Board, Project Technical Reviews, and Safety Review Board.
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical personnel at all levels.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
- 5+ years of experience leading a multi-disciplined engineering team.
- 5+ years of experience in technical design, development, integration, and testing of large-scale complex mechanical and fluid systems.
- Demonstrated leadership in driving issue resolution and mitigating technical risk.
- Familiarity with ASME Piping Codes and Standards is preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively with suppliers and customers.
- Active U.S. Top Secret / SCI Security Clearance required.
