Deputy Chief Engineer

The Deputy Chief Engineer at Boeing will lead a multi-disciplined engineering team focused on the technical development, integration, and testing of a complex mechanical and fluid system test facility. This role involves overseeing project leadership, ensuring technical integrity, and providing innovative solutions to complex problems.

• Oversee a team of engineers, suppliers, and facility personnel in the technical development, integration, and test of a large-scale complex mechanical and fluid system test facility.
• Serve as the Deputy Chief Engineer accountable for technical integrity and safety.
• Provide leadership to drive integration and resolve technical issues.
• Ensure technical baseline control and support technical oversight and direction.
• Identify technical risks and ensure they are driven to resolution.
• Chair the Engineering Change Board, Project Technical Reviews, and Safety Review Board.
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical personnel at all organization levels.

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or related fields.
• 5+ years of experience leading a multi-disciplined engineering team.
• 5+ years of experience in the technical design, development, integration, and test of complex mechanical and fluid systems.
• Demonstrated leadership in driving issue resolution and mitigating technical risk.
• Familiarity with ASME Piping Codes and Standards is preferred.
• Ability to effectively communicate with suppliers and customers.
• Active U.S. Top Secret / SCI Security Clearance is required.
