Responsibilities
- Answer inquiries from airlines regarding composites and non-metallic materials.
- Revise material and process specifications for spare parts production.
- Conduct and approve qualifications for composite and metal bond parts.
- Oversee material qualifications to specifications.
- Perform failure analyses.
- Review documents to ensure correct material usage.
- Utilize project management tools to meet technical and schedule requirements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry.
- 1+ years of experience with composites and/or non-metallic materials.
- Experience in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Willingness to travel 10% of the time.
- Preferred: 2+ years in the aerospace industry.
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in chemical or materials engineering.
- Must meet export control compliance requirements.
