Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams through the Safety Lesson Learned process for safety events.
- Conduct investigations to identify root causes and preventive actions for safety issues.
- Coordinate with Boeing functional groups, management, and suppliers on safety investigations.
- Investigate design, manufacturing, and operational processes to develop safety solutions.
- Work with the FAA to ensure visibility of safety investigations and actions.
- Partner with Enterprise Safety to improve processes for future safety initiatives.
- Communicate complex technical issues effectively to diverse audiences.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or related field.
- 1+ years of experience in an engineering field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with multi-discipline teams.
- Intrinsic aptitude for leading cross-functional teams.
- Experience with Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) tools preferred.
- Knowledge of commercial airplane operation and safety requirements is a plus.
