Responsibilities
- Design, analyze, develop, and test primary and secondary structures, including composites and metallic parts.
- Create 3D models, detailed part drawings, assemblies, and interface control documents.
- Provide manufacturing and production support for hardware.
- Offer technical guidance for integration.
- Support configuration development and trade studies.
- Create test plans and specifications for flight hardware development.
- Participate in subsystem test planning, execution, and data analysis.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of a B.S. degree in engineering.
- 6+ years of experience with structures in automotive, aircraft, spacecraft, or launch vehicles.
- Experience in structural design of metallic components and assemblies.
- Strong mechanical design skills using 3D CAD software.
- Familiarity with GD&T analysis (ASME Y14.5).
- Ability to apply structural mechanics principles rapidly.
- Experience with the full product lifecycle of design, test, and production.
