Responsibilities
- Design, analysis, development, and testing of primary and secondary structures.
- Create 3D models, detail part drawings, and interface control documents.
- Provide manufacturing and production support for hardware.
- Support configuration development and trade studies.
- Create test plans, specifications, and documentation for flight hardware.
- Participate in subsystem test planning, execution, and data analysis.
- Maintain and report on activity schedule, budget, and technical status.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of a B.S. degree in engineering.
- 5+ years of experience with structures in automotive, aircraft, spacecraft, or launch vehicles.
- Strong mechanical design skills using 3D CAD software.
- Familiarity with GD&T analysis (ASME Y14.5).
- Ability to build positive professional relationships and contribute to an inclusive culture.
- Experience with structural mechanics principles and finite element analysis.
- Knowledge of design considerations for a cryogenic operating environment.
