Responsibilities
- Participate in the entire design cycle including requirements derivation and conceptual design.
- Engage in the design, analysis, and testing of mechanical systems and structures.
- Assist in the assembly and test of development and flight hardware.
- Identify and implement design changes to improve reliability and reduce costs.
- Support manufacturing, integration, and development testing.
- Collaborate with engineering teams across various business units.
- Maintain a focus on safety and compliance throughout the engineering process.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of a BS Degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
- Basic understanding of mechanical design and structural analysis.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD programs, preferably Creo Pro/E.
- Relevant internship or co-op experience.
- Ability to work independently and in teams.
- Flexible and adaptable mindset.
- Basic understanding of Finite Element Analysis (ANSYS preferred).
