Responsibilities
- Design, analyze, and test mechanical systems and structures.
- Participate in the entire design cycle, including requirements derivation and conceptual design.
- Support manufacturing and integration of hardware.
- Assist in assembly and testing of development and flight hardware.
- Identify and implement design changes to improve reliability and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with engineering teams based on skillset and business needs.
- Maintain a culture of safety and inclusion in all engineering activities.
Job Requirements
- BS Degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or relevant field.
- Basic understanding of design fundamentals and structural analysis.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD programs (Creo Pro/E preferred).
- Relevant internship or co-op experience.
- Ability to work independently and in teams.
- Flexible and adaptable mindset with a self-driven approach.
- Basic understanding of Finite Element Analysis (ANSYS preferred).
