Responsibilities
- Translate engineering intent and drawings into functional hardware ready for test, qualification, and flight.
- Identify tools and equipment required for manufacturing flight hardware.
- Provide shipside/lineside support on the manufacturing floor.
- Generate, manage, and close non-conformance reports (NCR).
- Support the introduction of new products by creating manufacturing plan artifacts.
- Craft manufacturing bill of materials and work instructions.
- Support weekend work schedule including three 12-hour shifts.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Prior internship experience in relevant fields (aircraft, spacecraft, automotive manufacturing).
- Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals for mechanical design and manufacturing.
- Proficient in CAD and other software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Hands-on experience with building flight hardware preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in an engineering capacity, including internships.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
