Responsibilities
- Lead team-member hiring, development, and performance management.
- Develop talent roadmaps to support employee career and company objectives.
- Ensure compliance with command media and drive revisions as needed.
- Plan and execute program test engineering activities through staffing and financial evaluations.
- Develop test plans and procedures, derive test requirements, and scope test equipment.
- Collaborate with program management and other engineering groups to develop a whole system approach to testing.
- Foster creativity and innovation within the team while managing evolving requirements.
Job Requirements
- B.S. degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of leadership experience in the aerospace industry.
- Experience with environmental testing of mechanical components.
- Strong digital literacy and ability to learn various software tools.
- Collaborative experience in small cross-discipline teams on fast-paced projects.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for fostering professional relationships.
- Passion for spaceflight and space exploration.
