Responsibilities
- Establish, implement, maintain, and enforce quality system processes.
- Measure, analyze, and improve quality system performance.
- Facilitate troubleshooting of quality issues and lead causal analysis activities.
- Review and approve manufacturing build documents and nonconformance records.
- Conduct periodic audits of the quality system in accordance with AS9100.
- Interface with internal and external customers on quality-related concerns.
- Develop training materials to enhance quality awareness.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of a B.S. in Engineering/Science.
- 5+ years of experience in a Quality Engineer role in a production environment.
- Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO9000 QM System.
- Ability to support manufacturing schedules and overtime as needed.
- Desired certifications include Certified Quality Engineer and Six Sigma.
- Experience in Aerospace or military/commercial aviation is preferred.
- Knowledge of quality tools such as Lean principles and root cause analysis.
