Responsibilities
- Design and develop combustion devices (injectors, chambers, nozzles, thrusters, igniters, etc.)
- Oversee the complete product life-cycle of combustion devices
- Conduct test support and perform test data reviews
- Process non-conforming hardware
- Write technical reports
- Collaborate within a team of engineers
- Apply technical expertise and leadership skills to ensure quality and safety
Job Requirements
- B.S. degree in engineering (aerospace, mechanical, chemical, or physics)
- 2+ years of industry experience in a related field
- Familiarity with combustion devices
- Computer-aided design (CAD) experience
- Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Familiarity with data analysis and processing
- Strong fundamentals in propulsion, fluids, thermodynamics, and combustion analysis
