MFG Engineer (Multiple levels)

The role involves leading the design and implementation of efficient manufacturing systems for aerospace hardware, ensuring quality control, and optimizing supply chain logistics within Blue Origin's Lunar Operations team.

• Support the industrialization of new flight and payload hardware.
• Drive application and optimization of DFM, DFA, DFT across the product lifecycle.
• Collaborate closely with design engineering, quality, supply chain, and operations.
• Develop and maintain clear manufacturing documentation.
• Evaluate and implement new manufacturing technologies.
• Lead root cause investigations and drive corrective action.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, Aerospace Engineering, or related discipline.
• Relevant Manufacturing Engineering experience (3+ years for Level II).
• Experience creating clear manufacturing documentation.
• Ability to work required shifts with flexibility for overtime.
• Preferred: Master’s degree or Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt certification.
• Proficiency in CAD software (NX, CATIA, Creo, SolidWorks).
• Experience with analytical evaluation methods (DFM, DFA, FEA).
