Responsibilities
- Serve as group representative for piping and tubing systems analysis coordination.
- Create and maintain piping analyses through the design lifecycle.
- Perform detailed checks (peer reviews) of existing analyses and communicate results to stakeholders.
- Ensure designs meet cost, schedule, and technical requirements.
- Support other analyses of piping systems with structural/piping details.
- Guide others in the use of piping analysis tools.
- Interpret results using Bentley AutoPipe.
Job Requirements
- Four-year aerospace or mechanical engineering degree (or similar discipline).
- At least five years of experience in a technical engineering role.
- Extensive experience with piping stress analyses and Bentley AutoPipe.
- Knowledge of ASME B31.3 design criteria for stress analysis piping systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Desired: 10+ years of relevant experience, especially in piping/tubing systems.
- Knowledge of fluid components typical in tubing and piping systems.
