Responsibilities

  • Support the industrialization of new products in solar arrays, integration and test, avionics, and structures.
  • Contribute to design for manufacturability (DFM), design for assembly (DFA), and design for test (DFT).
  • Translate engineering requirements into manufacturing processes.
  • Collaborate with design engineering, quality assurance, supply chain, and production teams.
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and process flow diagrams.
  • Evaluate and implement new manufacturing technologies and methods.
  • Support root cause analysis of process or product non-conformances and develop corrective actions.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, industrial, or process engineering.
  • 3+ years of experience creating English work instructions.
  • Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt Certification preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with assembly and integration of aerospace vehicles.
  • Familiarity with quality and safety standards, such as AS9100 and ISO 9001.
  • Strong foundation in engineering fundamentals for mechanical design and manufacturing.
