Responsibilities
- Develop manufacturing work instructions for fabrication, assembly, test, integration, and refurbishment processes.
- Manage quality, build sequence, and schedule for hardware manufacturing processes.
- Perform engineering drawing impact assessments and approvals.
- Disposition non-conformance repair and rework activities.
- Design material handling and packaging solutions for hardware protection.
- Support the manufacturing floor in assembly, compliance, and discrepancy resolution.
- Investigate root causes and implement preventative and corrective actions.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical, Chemical, or Aerospace Engineering.
- 7 or more years of direct manufacturing and engineering experience.
- Proficiency in CAD, PLM, and engineering software.
- Understanding of engineering fundamentals and GD&T.
- Experience with Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA).
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cooperatively in diverse teams.
- Physical ability to support production floor activities and lift up to 40 lbs.
