Responsibilities

  • Develop manufacturing work instructions for composites fabrication and assembly.
  • Manage quality, build sequence, and schedule of hardware during manufacturing.
  • Review engineering drawings and approve for manufacturing.
  • Support repair and rework activities.
  • Conduct root cause analyses for non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage hardware configuration and maintain pedigree.
  • Prioritize hardware procurement and communicate these priorities to the team.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering.
  • 3+ years of manufacturing and engineering experience.
  • Proficiency in composites fabrication and assembly.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical design and manufacturing fundamentals.
  • Ability to manage manufacturing bill of materials and author work instructions.
  • Strong technical and software skills (CAD, Excel, etc.).
  • Experience with industry quality systems such as AS9100 is desired.
