Responsibilities
- Develop manufacturing work instructions for composites fabrication and assembly.
- Manage quality, build sequence, and schedule of hardware during manufacturing.
- Review engineering drawings and approve for manufacturing.
- Support repair and rework activities.
- Conduct root cause analyses for non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
- Manage hardware configuration and maintain pedigree.
- Prioritize hardware procurement and communicate these priorities to the team.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering.
- 3+ years of manufacturing and engineering experience.
- Proficiency in composites fabrication and assembly.
- Strong understanding of mechanical design and manufacturing fundamentals.
- Ability to manage manufacturing bill of materials and author work instructions.
- Strong technical and software skills (CAD, Excel, etc.).
- Experience with industry quality systems such as AS9100 is desired.
