Responsibilities
- Translate engineering intent and drawings into functional hardware for testing and flight.
- Identify tools and equipment required for manufacturing flight hardware.
- Provide support on the manufacturing floor.
- Manage and close non-conformance reports (NCR).
- Craft manufacturing plans for new product introductions.
- Implement continuous improvement projects for safety and efficiency.
- Drive the transition from development to production while performing troubleshooting and maintenance.
Job Requirements
- Experience with aircraft, spacecraft, or automotive manufacturing (0-3 years for Level I Engineer).
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals and GD&T.
- Proficiency in CAD, issue tracking, and Microsoft Office tools.
- Hands-on experience with building flight hardware is preferred.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to work cooperatively with cross-functional teams.
