Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the Gas Systems team.
- Manage the complete lifecycle of the RCS propulsion system.
- Define system requirements and interfaces.
- Oversee detailed design, component development, assembly, and verification.
- Plan schedules and manage risks for hardware components.
- Collaborate with suppliers for design, build, test, and analysis of components.
- Engage with NASA and National Team Partners on the Human Landing System program.
Job Requirements
- B.S. in Aerospace, Mechanical, Physics, Systems Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in propulsion systems.
- Strong understanding of propulsion system requirements and lifecycle.
- Experience in technical leadership and mentoring.
- Proficient in compressible flow and 1D flow analysis.
- Excellent communication skills for interfacing with external parties.
- Familiarity with agile or waterfall project management methodologies.
