Responsibilities
- Collaborate with teams to build, operate, and maintain a world-class launch site and launch vehicle.
- Author and run procedures for commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and fluid system operations.
- Collaborate on system safety, perform hazards analysis, and guide work using safety controls.
- Operate and maintain launch pad piping systems, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Assist with oversight of commissioning and operation of new or modified piping/pressure systems.
- Occasional travel and second shift work may be necessary.
Job Requirements
- BS degree in aerospace, mechanical engineering, or similar discipline.
- Relevant experience with design or fluid system operation, including high-pressure gas or hydraulic systems.
- Experience writing and executing test plans and procedures for hazardous and safety-critical components.
- Ability to collaborate with teams across multiple roles and disciplines.
- Must be a U.S. citizen, national, or permanent resident.
- Preferred: 1-5 years of experience with fluid system operation and troubleshooting mechanical/piping systems.
- Knowledge of standard components and installation methods for piping systems.
