Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of component and integrated test engineering of the New Shepard vehicle.
- Coordinate with the production team to establish production targets.
- Resource and capacity planning for vehicle demand.
- Generate detailed metrics and schedules, including progress reporting.
- Execute development and qualification testing on a compressed schedule.
- Manage test space/equipment, budget, and schedule milestones.
- Provide recommendations and develop process improvements in test engineering activities.
Job Requirements
- B.S. degree in aerospace, mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing engineering; or 12+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience with assembly and integration of launch vehicles.
- Proficient in planning and scheduling tools.
- Experience managing Test Readiness Reviews and Job Hazard Analysis.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build professional relationships.
- Ability to hire, develop, and retain top talent.
- Passionate about space exploration.
