Responsibilities
- Lead GN&C development team, including software/algorithm development and flight autonomy.
- Manage a technical team of GN&C analysts, system engineers, and software/hardware engineers.
- Oversee cost & schedule execution and vendor management.
- Conduct analyses, simulations, and tests to verify specifications and requirements.
- Develop verification and validation plans for software and hardware components.
- Provide technical direction for sensor solutions by suppliers.
- Manage technical risks and execute mitigation plans for the GN&C subsystem.
Job Requirements
- B.S. in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Electrical engineering with at least 10 years of design experience.
- Experience in development and analysis of GN&C algorithms.
- Proven track record in leading GN&C subsystem development on aerospace programs.
- Strong management skills for technical teams.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Desired: M.S. or Ph.D. in relevant engineering disciplines and experience with MATLAB and Simulink.
