Responsibilities
- Create architecture and detailed designs for lunar transportation systems.
- Develop CAD models, detailed drawings, and manufacturing processes for composites and pressure vessels.
- Execute test plans for COPV qualification and acceptance, including data analysis.
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors for COPV design and manufacturing.
- Support integration of COPVs on vehicles and collaborate with other engineering disciplines.
- Conduct research to identify and implement design improvements for COPVs.
- Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards in all engineering processes.
Job Requirements
- B.S. degree in engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in automotive, aircraft, spacecraft, or launch vehicle structures.
- Strong mechanical design skills, including familiarity with CAD software.
- Knowledge of structural design and material selection for composites and metals.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
- Experience with GD&T analysis and technical writing.
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required.
