Responsibilities
- Create architecture and detailed designs for components.
- Develop CAD models, detailed drawings, and manufacturing processes for composites and pressure vessels.
- Execute test plans for COPV qualification and acceptance, including data analysis.
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors for COPV design and manufacturing.
- Support integration of COPVs on vehicles and collaborate with engineering disciplines.
- Conduct research to identify and implement design improvements for COPVs.
- Maintain positive and professional relationships within the team and with external stakeholders.
Job Requirements
- B.S. degree in engineering.
- 5+ years of experience with automotive, aircraft, spacecraft, or launch vehicle structures.
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency.
- Strong mechanical design skills using CAD software.
- Familiarity with GD&T analysis (ASME Y14.5).
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Experience in structural design of metallic and composite components.
