Responsibilities
- Develop SOFC materials related to powder metallurgy and/or hermetic glass sealing.
- Perform material and part characterization.
- Analyze and summarize results to communicate project milestone statuses.
- Work within the Bloom system for creating work orders and material requests.
- Support engineering efforts to reach manufacturing volume and quality targets.
Job Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s (4th year) or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Material Science.
- Must be graduating between spring 2026 and summer 2027.
- Hands-on hardware and/or lab experience skills.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Statistical analysis skills are a plus (JMP, Excel).
- Computer Programming language skills are a plus (Excel VBA, Python).
- Strong self-starter and team player with a can-do attitude.
