Responsibilities

  • Develop new SOFC materials and components.
  • Identify promising materials and define functional requirements.
  • Execute characterization studies on the component and stack level.
  • Qualify critical components for production and manage lifecycle.
  • Define component specifications in collaboration with suppliers.
  • Establish new testing protocols and explore new characterization methods.
  • Prepare and test fuel cell components and stacks.

Job Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Material Science.
  • Expected graduation between Spring 2026 and Summer 2027.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in teams.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Hands-on experience in engineering testing or lab experiments preferred.
  • Strong drive for results and continuous improvement.
  • Must be a self-starter and team player.
