Responsibilities
- Design upgrades to existing electromechanical systems and generate documentation.
- Research and specify specialized test hardware and data acquisition equipment.
- Participate in design reviews with the engineering team.
- Make recommendations for improved test designs.
- Collaborate with outside vendors and machine shops for material procurement.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
- Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance efficiency and reduce tool downtime.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace Engineering, or related discipline.
- Expected graduation between spring 2026 and summer 2027.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Demonstrated hands-on troubleshooting skills with lab electronics.
- Ability to communicate effectively within a team and across the organization.
- Organizational and planning skills.
- Computer proficiency in MS Office and SolidWorks; programming experience is a plus.
