Responsibilities
- Design and develop test equipment, including electrical design and LabView testing.
- Build, validate, and commission test equipment and fixtures.
- Assist in New Product Introduction by building units without existing work instructions.
- Create and maintain Bill of Materials for test equipment and fixtures.
- Fabricate, assemble, debug, and continuously improve test fixtures and equipment used in engineering and production.
- Assist in failure analysis and data collection on product units and associated test equipment.
- Procure items required to build test equipment using Purchase Requests software in Oracle.
Job Requirements
- Currently a student earning a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Must be graduating between spring 2026 and summer 2027.
- Familiarity with electrical safety basics and LabView.
- Strong electrical principles and circuits skills required.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technicians and engineers.
- Demonstrated ability to use oscilloscope, DC Power supply, and power tools.
- Schematic drafting experience using Visio, AutoCAD, Draftsight, etc.
