Responsibilities
- Assist engineers in the research, design, development, and testing of electrical systems.
- Investigate future technologies and architectures related to microgrids and battery storage systems.
- Design subsystems for a new product line and suggest improvements to existing products.
- Provide technical support for existing products to analyze design and process-related issues.
- Carry out test programs to evaluate the performance of new and existing products.
- Prepare a project report and present findings to the team at the end of the internship.
Job Requirements
- Currently a student earning a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Must be graduating between spring 2026 and summer 2027.
- Understanding of electrical power systems, power electronics, and control systems.
- Knowledge of renewable energy technologies and battery storage is a plus.
- Experience with modeling power electronics in Matlab or PSCAD is a plus.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills.
