Responsibilities
- Document design including electrical schematics and wiring/cabling diagrams.
- Troubleshoot complex automated equipment like Allen Bradley PLC and Keyence Vision systems.
- Engage in hands-on wiring of electrical control panels.
- Configure and set up various sensors, including no contact displacement sensors and smart sensors.
- Learn and implement basic to intermediate machine vision applications using Cognex/Keyence smart cameras.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and technicians to meet project objectives.
- Participate in the design and building of Proof of Concept tools for Engineering and Manufacturing.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Automatic Controls, or a related field.
- Expected graduation between spring 2026 and August 2027.
- Proficiency in electrical schematics.
- Understanding of automated control systems, sensors, actuators, and electrical safety.
- Hands-on experience in solving technical problems.
- Strong collaboration skills to work with engineers and technicians.
- Must not require visa sponsorship for this internship position.
