Responsibilities
- Collect power flow study requirements for battery aggregation use-cases.
- Choose appropriate power flow study tooling for various use-cases.
- Aid in the design and deployment of power flow models.
- Compile and present study results to stakeholders.
- Advocate for standards amendments through participation in committees and technical meetings.
Job Requirements
- Deep experience with power flow modeling tools (transmission and distribution).
- Data analysis and visualization skills with Python, familiarity with PyPSA is a plus.
- Familiarity with IEEE standard test feeder topologies.
- Knowledge of tools for scaling compute intensive power flow studies.
- Practical experience with bulk transmission system interconnection processes is a plus.
