Responsibilities
- Lead the design and conduct power flow studies for distribution and transmission service levels.
- Collect power flow study requirements for Base battery aggregation use-cases.
- Choose appropriate power flow study tools for different use-cases.
- Aid in the design and deployment of power flow models.
- Compile and present study results to stakeholders.
- Advocate for standards amendments through participation in standards committees.
- Become an internal subject matter expert on distribution system design and control.
Job Requirements
- Deep experience with power flow modeling tools and solver engines.
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization using Python.
- Familiarity with IEEE standard test feeder topologies.
- Experience with methodologies for scaling power flow studies.
- Practical experience with bulk transmission system interconnection processes is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced startup environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and commitment to the mission of rebuilding the grid.
