Responsibilities
- Participate in the mechanical engineering design of MGSE and Special Test Equipment from concept to final delivery.
- Perform CAD modeling and design analysis to meet technical requirements.
- Provide post-design sustaining engineering support from fabrication to testing.
- Support hardware development teams to meet cost, schedule, and technical requirements.
- Interact with other functional disciplines in an integrated program team environment.
- Proactively identify and manage risks and opportunities.
- Support Requirements Development, Design for Manufacturing, Design for Test, and Requirements Verification.
Job Requirements
- BS degree or higher in Engineering or related technical field.
- Demonstrated design analysis capability.
- Proficiency in CAD software for modeling/drafting.
- Preferred degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
- Experience in MGSE for aerospace applications.
- Proficiency using Solidworks.
