The Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technician role at BAE Systems involves supporting the U.S. Navy's weapon systems by preparing and reviewing fault isolation procedures, technical source data, and electrical alterations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review draft fault isolation procedures.
- Review technical source data and revise descriptive manuals.
- Evaluate and resolve source data inputs and related documentation.
- Identify necessary revisions to existing technical manuals.
- Troubleshoot problems and determine solutions.
- Prepare and deliver presentations.
- Analyze wiring diagrams and engineering instructions.
Job Requirements
- Associate degree in electrical/electronic engineering technology or similar/related discipline, or a high school diploma with relevant experience.
- Minimum of 6 years of related experience (or 8 years with a high school diploma).
- Former U.S. Navy experience as a Missile Technician or related role.
- Knowledge of electrical theory and component symbols.
- Experience with fault isolation concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
