The Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technician role at BAE Systems involves supporting the U.S. Navy's weapon systems by preparing and reviewing fault isolation procedures, technical source data, and electrical alterations.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review draft fault isolation procedures.
  • Review technical source data and revise descriptive manuals.
  • Evaluate and resolve source data inputs and related documentation.
  • Identify necessary revisions to existing technical manuals.
  • Troubleshoot problems and determine solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations.
  • Analyze wiring diagrams and engineering instructions.

Job Requirements

  • Associate degree in electrical/electronic engineering technology or similar/related discipline, or a high school diploma with relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 6 years of related experience (or 8 years with a high school diploma).
  • Former U.S. Navy experience as a Missile Technician or related role.
  • Knowledge of electrical theory and component symbols.
  • Experience with fault isolation concepts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
