Mechnical Engineering Intern (Spring Semester)

The role is for a mechanical/aerospace engineering intern at Auriga Space, focusing on the development of hardware prototypes for an electromagnetic space launch system.

• Assist in the development of hardware prototypes.
• Design, build, and test hardware.
• Work across engineering disciplines.
• Thrive in a start-up environment.
• Prioritize and execute tasks effectively.
• Communicate verbally and in writing.
• Collaborate with a small, high-performing team.

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program for engineering, physics, math, or similar.
• 3+ months of applied engineering experience.
• Ability to work full-time on-site for at least 12 consecutive weeks.
• Willingness to work in a hands-on, evolving environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong prioritization skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with 3D CAD software (desired).
