Responsibilities
- Cultivate and manage a high-performing leadership team.
- Own the hardware architecture for nodes, including mechanism selection and structural design.
- Drive hardware requirements and translate them into subsystem specifications.
- Lead design and industrialization of motion subsystems and in-situ metrology.
- Establish rigorous design processes and documentation standards.
- Develop prototype-to-production pipelines in partnership with Manufacturing Engineering.
- Drive reliability engineering and testing strategies for hardware nodes.
Job Requirements
- 15+ years of leadership experience with cross-organizational teams.
- Proven track record of shipping multiple hardware systems to production.
- Expertise in precision mechanism design and metrology.
- Strong knowledge of GD&T and design for manufacturability.
- Experience with sensors and actuators integration.
- Background in building hardware test and validation frameworks.
- Minimum bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
