Responsibilities
- Work closely with the engineering team to support ongoing projects.
- Obtain aerospace manufacturing experience through the assistance of the engineering team.
- Perform other engineering duties as assigned.
- Participate in hands-on work assignments and projects related to the field of interest.
- Engage in professional development activities to enhance business acumen and professional skills.
- Attend planned networking events with other interns and employees.
- Gain experience in a forging environment and lean manufacturing practices.
Job Requirements
- College student pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Must be sophomore standing or above in college.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering prints and drawings.
- Basic understanding of computer-aided design (CAD) principles.
- Familiarity with thermodynamics and mechanics of materials.
- Basic understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) is a plus.
- Ability to write simple macros and programs is a plus.
