Responsibilities
- Document designs, analyze results, and review validation outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Mechanical, Avionics, and Software Engineers.
- Assist in the design and analysis of mechanical systems using simulation methods.
- Develop thermal control strategies for planetary rovers.
- Conduct thermal modeling and simulation for extreme environments.
- Leverage CAD software for part modeling and development.
- Engage in structural analysis using hand calculations and FEA software.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a STEM-related degree.
- At least 3 months of applied engineering experience.
- Experience using CAD software for part modeling.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with thermal FEA software.
- Experience in design for manufacturing and geometric dimensioning.
- Ability to analyze thermal test data and simulation results.
