Responsibilities
- Document designs, analyze results, and review validation outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system compatibility.
- Design and analyze mechanical systems using simulation methods and experimental data.
- Develop thermal control strategies and systems for planetary rovers.
- Conduct thermal modeling and simulation for extreme environments.
- Leverage experience to contribute to the evolution of rover design.
- Use CAD software for part modeling and development.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a STEM-related degree.
- At least 3 months of applied engineering experience outside of the classroom.
- Experience using CAD software for part modeling.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with thermal FEA software.
- Experience in design for manufacturing and geometric dimensioning.
- Ability to analyze and make decisions based on thermal test data.
