Responsibilities
- Document designs and analyze results to support team understanding.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Mechanical, Avionics, and Software Engineers.
- Design and analyze mechanical systems at the full system and subsystem level.
- Develop thermal control strategies and systems for planetary rovers.
- Conduct thermal modeling and simulation for systems in extreme environments.
- Participate in the evolution of rover design based on mechanical needs.
- Utilize CAD software for part modeling and development.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a STEM-related degree.
- At least 3 months of applied engineering experience.
- Experience using CAD software for part modeling.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with structural analysis and thermal FEA software.
- Ability to analyze thermal test data and simulation results.
- Availability to work full-time on-site for a minimum of 12 weeks.
