Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and mentor managers across mechanical, thermal, and propulsion teams.
- Scale the engineering team by recruiting, training, and developing talent.
- Develop and execute a long-term technical roadmap.
- Navigate complex technical trades and direct innovative product development.
- Oversee program execution, managing cost, risk, and schedule for projects.
- Drive teams to deliver high-quality, reliable, and efficient systems on schedule.
- Represent the company to external stakeholders, including customers and investors.
Job Requirements
- 10+ years of technical experience.
- 5+ years as a manager.
- 3+ years as a manager of managers.
- Experience with integrated vehicles (spacecraft, aircraft, car).
- Proven track record in new product development.
- Experience with program planning and resource management.
- B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical degree.
