Electrical Engineering Intern

The Electrical Engineering Intern role at ASSA ABLOY involves working closely with engineering teams to support various engineering assignments, including circuit simulation, design analysis, and testing. The intern will gain hands-on experience in hardware engineering processes and contribute to engineering projects.

• Assist senior engineers with circuit-level simulation and verification.
• Design and set up experiments, collect data, and write test protocols.
• Conduct design analysis and calculations under supervision.
• Support presentation creation for engineering and executive reviews.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and software engineers.
• Perform engineering calculations and documentation.
• Present accomplishments and results to the Engineering Leadership team.

• 3rd or 4th year or recent graduate in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or STEM.
• Basic knowledge of hardware engineering processes and tools.
• Familiarity with analog and digital circuits.
• Experience with CAD tools like Eagle/Altium/OrCAD/PADS.
• Basic programming skills in C, C++, or Python.
• Hands-on soldering experience is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
