Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring solutions to market.
- Implement mechanical designs using Creo 3D CAD and produce necessary documentation.
- Manage peer reviews and participate in design evaluations.
- Structure and release bills of materials (BOM) using product lifecycle management tools.
- Provide 3D models for thermal simulations and collaborate with PCB design teams.
- Address design for manufacturability (DFM) concerns with suppliers.
- Conduct lab testing on prototypes and communicate manufacturing issues.
Job Requirements
- BS, MS, or PhD in Mechanical Engineering with 7 years of experience.
- Relevant experience in mechanical design for data center equipment preferred.
- Familiarity with ECO, BOM, and deviation processes; Agile experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in ProEngineer (PTC Creo) and thermal simulation experience preferred.
- Hands-on experience with testing (shock, vibe, EMC) is a plus.
- Ability to lift weights upwards of 50 pounds.
- Fluent in English.
