Responsibilities
- Lead NPI activities from prototype builds through production ramp.
- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for scalable production.
- Drive DFM and Design for Cost improvements across mechanical and E/M components.
- Conduct root cause analysis for quality and process issues at manufacturers.
- Lead assembly process development for efficient manufacturing workflows.
- Design and develop tooling, fixtures, and assembly aids.
- Manage BOMs, Deviations, MCOs, and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
Job Requirements
- 1-3+ years of experience in Mechanical De Manufacturing Product, Process, or NPI Engineering.
- Expertise in networking products related to routing, switching, and data center.
- Solid knowledge of DFx and manufacturing quality control.
- Strong knowledge of basic manufacturing processes including CNC machining and injection molding.
- Experience working with Contract Manufacturers and Supply Chain vendors in Asia.
- B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
- Proficient in Creo.
