Responsibilities
- Test thermal and electrical properties of LMEE materials in laptops, desktop GPUs, and servers.
- Analyze material samples according to company protocols and document findings.
- Disassemble and reassemble devices for characterization using industry-standard benchmarks.
- Calculate performance metrics using automated Python scripts developed with mentorship.
- Contribute results to the go-to-market strategy for new formulations.
- Work in-person at the company office.
- Collaborate with the development team to identify trends and flaws in data.
Job Requirements
- Experience in defining Design of Experiments (DoE) and documenting results.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with Python and/or Matlab.
- Ability to analyze data independently and discuss optimizations.
- Experience in an industrial or academic research laboratory.
- Enrollment in an ABET accredited program in relevant engineering fields.
- Nice-to-haves include experience with disassembling electronics and knowledge of thermal characterization techniques.
