Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle-level trade study analysis.
- Define and validate vehicle performance requirements.
- Characterize the performance and capabilities of the aircraft.
- Analyze flight test data and update vehicle physics models.
- Support development of flight training devices and simulator models.
- Collaborate with suppliers to integrate systems into vehicle simulations.
- Generate embedded aircraft performance models for operational use.
Job Requirements
- BS in an Engineering discipline required; MS or PhD preferred.
- 3+ years of aerospace vehicle performance and simulation experience.
- Expertise in modeling and numerical optimization techniques.
- Proficient in developing vehicle analysis tools in Python and MATLAB.
- Strong technical communication skills.
- Experience in a fast-paced design environment.
- Bonus: Familiarity with FAA regulations and experience with eVTOL aircraft.
