Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive reliability engineering strategy for hardware systems.
- Establish and maintain reliability metrics, goals, and test protocols for each product lifecycle stage.
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, firmware, and manufacturing teams to integrate reliability principles.
- Design reliability testing approaches and analyze thermal, electrical, and mechanical stresses.
- Lead root cause analysis for hardware failures and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and oversee reliability testing plans, including HALT and HASS.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers to foster a culture of reliability.
Job Requirements
- Extensive experience with reliability engineering principles and methods.
- Proficiency in reliability testing methods such as HALT and HASS.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and electronic components.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Proven ability to lead RCA efforts and drive reliability improvements.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in reliability engineering for complex hardware systems.
