Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a cross-disciplinary team of engineers.
- Participate in creative brainstorming for concept generation.
- Conduct engineering analysis to drive design decisions.
- Compare concepts via iterative design, prototype, assembly, and test.
- Detailed design of chassis structures, pivots, and bearings.
- Perform analysis (FEA, etc.) to optimize and validate design.
- Mentor junior engineers on engineering fundamentals and best practices.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Automotive Engineering.
- At least 15 years of experience in mechanical engineering for robotics applications.
- High proficiency in advanced CAD design and analysis tools such as Creo.
- Strong understanding of kinematics, free body dynamics, and structures.
- Experience with high-performance, dynamic robotics applications and analysis.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to meet schedule and quality targets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for documentation and collaboration.
